Sheets of Series 50 are carried out by derivation from data of maps at scale 1:25.000. Two series are published:
- Series 50 in 6 colours;
- Series 50L in 3 colours. Relief is indicated only by contour lines. Administrative boundaries are overprinted in purple
CHARACTERISTICS

Roads, populated places, technological networks, vegetation, hydrography and relief are indicated. Relief is indicated by contour lines (at 25 m. intervals), elevation spots and shading.
Administrative (State, Region, Province and Municipality) boundaries are delineated.
Populated places are shown in detail; roads are classified according to the road-bed nature and to the width.
Woods: symbols of trees are in black over green filling
