The new Pegaso network, which will be operating after its expected launch on May 22, 2024 in Florence at the Istituto Geografico Militare, is one of a kind:

Users will have a special portal to access all usage sessions, download Rinex data, and check sessions completed.

PEGASO VRS NOW
The only IGM-certified network with Trimble technology
The PEGASO VRS national network, as a result of a public-private partnership, aims at distributing and managing, in real time, GNSS differential adjustments. It can be used by any receiver connected to the service via Internet. It provides a number of exclusive services such as:

Precision Positioning (PP) in RINEX format with minimum sampling rate of 1Hz.

Real-time precision positioning (network RTK: VRS).

IGM data transmission for switching ETRF2000 ROMA40 reference systems.

Dedicated customer portal for viewing station status, downloading RINEX data, and checking completed sessions.
These are just some of the features provided by the new PEGASO network, which will soon be available on the Italian market.
The official launch will take place in Florence on May 22, 2024 at the Istituto Geografico Militare.
